In addition to our film series project, Beyond Good Intentions is also committed to providing a wide range of educational programs for high school and college students. If you are interested in learning more about any of these projects, or if you would like to host a training or screening at your school, please contact us at BGIEdPrograms@gmail.com.

Workshops
Beyond Good Intentions has innovated a number of workshops that use film-based case studies to help students evaluate a variety of issues in volunteerism and international aid. We offer a unique workshop for students who plan to volunteer abroad that prepares them to think more critically about their perceptions, approaches, and potential impact as volunteers. We also offer theme-based workshops on international aid topics that introduce the key concepts and engage student participants in meaningful dialogue. If you are a student or teacher interested in hosting a Beyond Good Intentions workshop at your school, please contact us at BGIEdPrograms@gmail.com.
To expand existing scholarship in the field of international aid effectiveness, Beyond Good Intentions has created a global summer research fellowship for university students. The fellowship is offered to rising juniors and seniors and involves a 10-week field study program in a developing country. Fellows conduct research on aid effectiveness in order to uncover the most promising organizations and models around the world. Our eight current BGI Global Research Fellows for the 2009 summer fellowship will be conducting research in the following countries: The Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Bosnia, the Philippines, Malawi, and Senegal. In addition to their field research, fellows will also be producing digital media projects using photography, blogs, and filmmaking to share their experiences and findings with a larger audience. Their projects will be available throughout the summer at beyondgoodintentions.com. 2010 Information + 2009 BGI Fellows Bios & Blogs >

Academic Networks
To create greater impact in the field of international aid effectiveness, Beyond Good Intentions seeks to connect academics who are currently teaching relevant courses or conducting aid-related research. We hope to create a community that can share resources, ideas, and best practices in order to better equip students who are interested in this field. If you are interested in becoming part of this expanding network, please send us an email at BGIEdPrograms@gmail.com.
